Well, i've FINALLY kicked the wicked infection that kept going from my ear to my sinuses to my chest and back again. Had my ear drained and a tube put in, and i've been sleeping on average of 10 hours a night, so i'm good. I've been sorting beads like mad, and finding neat little bead shops all over the milwaukee/madison area. I've also been working 60+ hour weeks, so yeah, busy lis! I'm also working on constructing a cheapie lightbox for myself to help with the lighting problems. if i can get thtat under control, i'll start working on taking better pictures with more detail.

it's basically an online library catalog for your own collection of books. how awesome is that! i'm setting up mine, because, quite frankly, i have no idea how many books i have, and i need a way to document WHAT i have. also, i will be setting up another account to show people the books i have a available for trade/selling, and another account as a wishlist. i have a huge wishlist of books, and i would LOVE to trade for them. i also have close to 500 books that i want to get rid of. I sold a few hundred on ebay when i had an ebay account, but with the prices as nuts as they are on there now, it's just not worth it.

Finally got my computer fixed! took two hundred dollars and alot of time and irritation, but finally! i have a working computer! I have almost 100 pieces of jewelry that i know i haven't submitted, as well as probably others i've forgotten about. So! Over the next few days, when i have time, i will be doing ALOT of submissions! I will also be replying to comments and posts. Thank you all for your interest, i am so sorry it's taken this long to get back to all of you, but i will be going full speed ahead for the next few weeks and trying to get caught up!

Ok i'm currently MIA from dA due to my motherboard basically blowing up. I should be back in a week or two tho, i have a friend fixing it for me, as soon as i can get the pieces. annnnndddd another update XD I have submitted a bunch of my deviations as prints, including most of the cat pictures, and a few of the cooler jewelry pictures, and nature picts.

I bought some fantastic jewelry Natasha was selling so she could close down her shop, and it arrived earlier in the week (super fast!) it's even better in person than in photos! They all far surpassed my expectations Thank you SO MUCH hun!!!!!!

Ok i am having major trouble viewing most deviations, even my own. half the time the picture doesn't load at ALL, and the other half, it only loads half, or loads all the way, but half is gray. It's been like this for over a week, altho i've only been off and on! This is why i haven't commented on any new deviations by anyone. I announced a couple weeks ago that i would be featuring some of my favorite underappreciated artists on dA after i finished the 100 themes contest...well...silly me, i realized i could feature people right away!!! I haven't decided how long i will feature people for, maybe a month or so, but i already know the first two features i am giving!

I stumbled upon her jewelry right after she joined dA and i was immediately impressed...then she posted more, and i was REALLY impressed. My favorite thing about her jewelry is that just when you think you've seen every material possible used in jewelry...she finds something new to use. Broken shells any one would normally throw out, little bits of driftwood, acorns...it's so impressive! Then on top of that are the beautiful miniature stories she posts as descriptions of each piece. Going through her gallery is like being in a fairytale. She DEFINITELY deserves waaaay more watchers and favorites!

When i checked out his gallery, i found not only beautiful photography, but one of the most innovative jewelry makers on dA. NOTHING is out of bounds to his creativity. And he's only 19!!!! Guitar picks, bullets, silverware...the list goes on and on...and that's just the jewelry...he also creates some of the most amazing jewelry display pieces i've ever seen, out of records, altoid tins...Go check out his gallery! It's like wandering through a Toys R Us while listening to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin...He definitely deserves way more notice!
